The goals of the program are as follows:
1. To foster the interest of students in community and voluntary activities.
2. To provide participants with a greater understanding of community issues through interaction with peers, community leaders and decision-makers from all segments of the community.
3. To encourage participants to recognize in themselves their potential and assist them in identifying and developing their leadership skills.
4. To expose participants to resources available within our community.
5. To stimulate interest in our community by working on humane, social and economic problems as they exist in the real world.
6. To learn effective leadership skills, learn effective problem solving skills, gain self-confidence, become aware of future potential, make new friends, meet and work with community leaders, experience the difference you can make in your community and in the lives of others and have fun while completing the program
